Ornamental Products is a member of the Ornamental Group of
Companies, a third generation family run business.
William Riedlinger,
the present owner’s grandfather, founded the original
company, The Canadian Amplifier Company, in 1926 in Waterloo,
Ontario, Canada. The Canadian Amplifier Company produced horns
for radios and gramophones.
A second company,
Ornamental Moulding and Carving Company Limited, was started
in the mid 1930's producing embossed and carved wood mouldings
and ornaments primarily for the Canadian furniture trade.
Over time, the
Waterloo plant evolved into Ornamental Mouldings, a manufacturer
of decorative wood mouldings and accessories for the building
trade. Today Ornamental Mouldings has manufacturing facilities
located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and Archdale, NC. Ornamental
Moulding’s products are sold through fine building materials

Ornamental
Products, Inc:
In order to better service the furniture and cabinet
industries, American Ornamental, Inc., was established as
a stand-alone manufacturing facility in High Point, NC, in
1969. This company later evolved into Ornamental Products,
and today it sells it's comprehensive range of furniture components
worldwide.
